PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Urban Continuum is a modern mixed-use development located in Odisha, designed as a cohesive vertical experience that integrates commercial vibrancy with private luxury.
The project comprises:
- Ground Floor – A welcoming restaurant interface activating the street edge
- First & Second Floors – Dynamic commercial spaces designed for flexibility and engagement
- Top Two Floors – An exclusive penthouse offering privacy, openness, and elevated living
This layered configuration creates a seamless transition from public to private realms, ensuring each level serves a distinct yet connected purpose.
PROJECT CONCEPT
The core idea behind The Urban Continuum is to design a fluid architectural journey—where spaces evolve as one moves vertically through the building.
At SP. ARC Design Studio, we envisioned this project as:
- A continuation of urban life, extending from street-level energy to serene upper-level living
- A balance between bold architectural expression and functional clarity
- A structure that integrates commercial activity, social interaction, and private retreat within one unified identity
The strong horizontal layering and cantilevered forms express this transition, while materials like corten steel, glass, concrete, and wood create a rich, contemporary palette.
